iPod touch iPod touch screen scratched?

Alright, so one day I was taking my ipod touch out of my otterbox case to put it on my dock, and it slipped out of my hand and slid a little on my hardwood floor. Now there are some very noticable scratches on the screen that are about an inch long. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove them?

yeah but i forgot what it is called its like liquid glass to repair scratched sunglasses if you take it to a sunglass place they might know what its called or take it to apple store and if they claim it cant scratch they might give you a new one? idk though...cause the said it CANT scratch if im right..but that sucks did you beat the crap outta the hard wood floor?

Its scratch RESISTANT not proof....they've never made such a claim....
