Hi there, my name is james and im soon to be buying a Touch, ive been informed that the iphone screen is glass but the touch is plastic, is that correct ??

if it is plastic, whats the durability of it like, does it scratch as soon as its handled or is it quite rugged ??

its the same as iphone aka glass and its pretty durable

Yup, they're both glass. I actually took a razor to it and it didn't scratch at all.

dude i took a fricken jackhammer to it and still, no scratch !! apple would never put plastic on their products.

Uhhh... pretty sure ALL previous iPod's have plastic screens. And most had plastic bodies.
