Beijing.
hey everyone.
i wanted to post my experiences to see if anyone felt similarly,
this isnt a rant at all...
i live in China (expat) and i heard the iPod Touch 4 was coming,
this is in a little electric market round the corner from where i live,
cuz the apple store just got the ipads (i know...)
so they said they would get them in a week for 2000 RMB,
i decided to sell my 2g to a friend,
it was in good condition, and i got 1400 out of it.
for the few days id have to to wait for the new iPt4 i decided to get a shuffle,
i got the oldest gen for 150RMB, like 20USD, and it works like wonders.
This is when i realised i dont need the iPt4,
i was using it for email, msn, the odd game, and a lil sharing with friends at school.
i had worked for the extra 600 required to get the new ipod,
but i decided not to... there was nothing OMG about the new one i really wanted,
ofc its beautiful, the cameras are nice... but nothing making me wanna buy it.
so yeah....
now im saving up (or working for) an iPad,
wanna see if anyone else got similar experiences with the iPt4.
i was expecting too much i guess.

Share your experiences:)

I've you've got a pocket for the iPad, or never took the old Touch out with you, then of course you don't need a small iPad (otherwise knows as a Touch). The difference is size and battery life. If you don't mind charging the iPad overnight every night, and the added weight and size of the iPad won't bother you, then it is great for email. The key to the value of the new Touch's cameras is to remember you have them with you. I've found the back camera incredibly handy for catching those things I would have said "wish I had a camera" for.
