iPod touch iPod touch sound quality

Hi guys, I am thinking to buy an used 1st gen iPod touch mainly for listening to music in my car, i will be connecting to a iPod connector in my car. I wanna know if the sound quality is the same in the ipod nano or classic?

Listening to it in your car I'm sure you won't notice any minor difference there may be
