iPod touch iPod touch - space gray or black/slate

Hey guys, i'm planning on picking one of these up in a few days.

I prefer the look of the black/slate, but i've read that this color "scuffs easily". Is this color made out of a different material or something? Or did people mean that scuffs are more easily noticeable since the back is darker?

Does anyone have this problem with it?

If this is an issue then I might just get the space gray.

if you're buying new, slate isn't an option anymore. the color choice was replaced with space gray.

I am fairly sure that it is made of the same material, but black will show scuffs easier than gray. Of course I would get a case for it anyway, I have the black one and when I take it out of my case it still looks brand new.
