iPod touch Ipod touch streaming

Hi, is there a way (or an app) to view files on your mac and then maybe stream it to your ipod touch, video and pics for example?

There is an app called Air Video, which can stream videos from a computer. I don't have it personally but apparently it works well. Check it out, hope this helps
