I recently tried to jailbreak my ipod touch but something somehow went wrong. Now its stuck on the sync screen. I held the buttons for 25 sec to restore it and plugged it into itunes. When i try to restore it, the update just keeps on downloading and never stops (it downloaded up to 170mb before i stopped it). I also held shift when pressing the restore button in itunes and found the recovery file but it just says "ipod could not be restored...error (1)"

Anyone else with this problem?

I haven't done anything to my touch, but now it seems stuck in the same way. It finished syncing some music I added and then is just stuck while saying "Syncing "Sherwood's iPod"..." It appears to be accessing the internet and I have no idea why. I have left for a long time with no luck.

Any one else seeing this?

The download is some 200MB large, by the way.
