iPod touch ipod touch sync issues

I have a IPOD touch 16 gb2nd gen which syncs extremely slow. Had apple on the phone and they think it is my PC. I brought the touch back to best buy and got another. This one is slow when syncing too. I tried all the resets etc... It seams when I go to sync my hard drive revs up and cpu usage goes to 100% Any suggestions. Intel Pentium D, 1gb sd ram, 250 gb harddrive.

How slow is slow?

I would say if the thing tood even fifteen minutes to sync 16 gigs your still doing fine.

I think the problem has more to do with attitude. Relax. Set it down and enjoy it when its done. I've got one and I have no problems waiting through the sync and my desktop is not as smoking as yours...

how long did u take to sync ur songs?

i take ~10-15min to sync 5 GB of music.
