if ive had an ipod touch, with settings and information backed up, could i set up a new iphone with settings and information from the ipod touch's backup???

confirmation from actual switcher would be even better. thanks in advance

I highly doubt it because its not a phone its only an iPod... I would think all the data would be different etc.

if you back up your iPod touch and then tell iTunes to sync the backup with your iPhone. I had a touch and then moved to an iPhone like that. Although it might be worth it to just redo your settings because the restore takes a while. Hope that helps!

As long as you set up syncing, information should be restored, but the settings won't.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5B108 Safari/525.20)

ok thx for the info.
