iPod touch to iPhone

I've got all my musics and some apps that I paid for on my iPod Touch, and I want to know how I can get them to my new iPhone 3GS! Any help is appreciated.

When I plugged in the iPhone for the first time and registered it gave me that choice but I just ended up with a completely erased contact list and no songs

Oh i failed to read the text it said "This will only restore the contacts, calendars, text messages, and settings."

When you connect to iTunes, once your phone show up on the left, two finger click, choose restore from back-up. It will list all your back-ups done in iTunes, just choose your iPod Touch last one.

It says it will only back up contacts etc...I've got all the music I'm just worried about the apps

Ok what you have to do is right click and transfer purchases!
