I would say 21-25 will win out because it’s still an appealing product to the age group but also affordable by them because they don’t really on mammy and daddies $$/££

Agreed, I was also interested in getting an idea of the age group that used these fourms. But then, the iPod Touch threads would attract a different age group to some of the others.

Thanks for making me feel old :)

I would definitely say 16-20 will win do to the fact that most people of that age will be getting jobs but won't have to pay rent yet. Highschoolers trying to be hip as well.

I think the price tag prices them above what more 16-20y/o's would consider reasonable, most people I know around that age are in love with the new Nano's for only £99,

Nah. Most people my age are fully capable of the price. At least all those I have talked to. I wouldn't bet on the starving college kids. While I am in college I am doing basics at a community college before I transfer to a 4 year. But I have no idea about those european kids though...

i would think 16-20 as they have jobs sorta but also they have parents that will buy them stuff

yeah im 17, and in my case i dont have to pay for anything, so I have a job.
The mindset for me and my friends was, oh the second i get $300 dollars im going to blow it all on the touch, but if you were older you would have to factor in bills and other expenses

I have to pay insurance, which is probably more than most here, about $202 a month >_<

and then gas too, mom and dad don't pay for that.. (I only use shell V-Power)

Then there is food...ugh i don't get money for food, nor shirts...oddly enough haha.

Uhhh, older than 46, and we'll leave it at that. I'm a baby-boomer who's into modern technology, not afraid of it like most people my age.

i would think most are in the same boat as you plus more. try rent, utilities, car payments, credit card payments, school loans, food, clothes, gas, car insurance, and health insurance. welcome to my world lol

granted i do have a sweet job which enables me to pay for this

just glad i don't have kids yet lol

Exactly, or you would have to buy two iPod Touch ;)

Maybe you guys are right, now that i think of it from when i started working (age 17) up until i was 20 i bought things like xbox 360, wii, ps3, psp, 30" Samsung lcd tv, home cinema system, 2 PC's and i'm sure the list goes on and on...... and now even though i have a better job, and get a lot more money i have to many other commitments, so i retract my post saying 21-25y/o's will win out in the end, go 16-20y/o's!! ;)

It's us boomers that designed and built this stuff! Without us they would still be using dial phones.

Thank you radio shack for teaching us electronics from the ground up! Still got a heath kit somewhere in the attic and vacum tubes by the boxs loads.
