Hi,

I'm starting to develop a product for the iPhone/iPod Touch.

I wonder what kind of practical difference can be bettween both products.

lso, I wonder if exist a diference between current & older iPod Touchs/iPhone version, ie, is can cause problems for testing or developing or because firmware.

Thanks.

If you plan on using a microphone for any of the features, go iPhone. Otherwise, it doesn't matter. iPod touch would probably be cheaper in the long run because of no service fees.

You're gonna want to research the SDK for yourself. Look for API that are applicable to only iPhone and you will get an idea of the differences. There's a lot the iPhone can do that the Touch cannot, but it depends on your app.

For example; if it is a game that only relies on the touchscreen and accelerometer, then either device is fine...

Ok. Thanks guys. I will go for iPod Touch. While in development, not make sense pay for a month plan.

And I get a bargain that can't resist.. ;)
