New member, 1st post. Did a search, but found nothing!

A while back, I read an article in an iPhone specific magazine that basically stated that the screen on the iPod touch was not as good as that on the iPhone (1st generation models for both units). The comment was made after watching videos on both devices. The writer suggested that one try to find a iPhone and not activate it as a phone, but to just use it like it was an iPod touch.

Now, with the 2nd generation touch, I know that it has a faster CPU than any of the other 3 devices, and it has a 2 piece screen now, unlike the old 1 piece version, but has the quality of the screen (if it actually was a screen problem and not a GPU/CPU problem) gotten any better? Is there any difference between iPhone 3G and 2nd gen touch screen video quality when watching video nowadays?
