Okay so two days ago I left my ipod in some shorts and washed it at the laundry matt -.- . I left it in the window in the daytime and in a bowl of rice at night. Same proceess for two days, still nothing, should I keep doing what im doing for a few more days? I did try turning it on the first day and I dont know it that may have fried the circut. I know the ipod was dead before the water but I'm afraid to plug it into power.

Any Help or Suggestions?
I need my ipod alive ASAP
&& im NOT able to go to an :apple: store for awhile.

I think you might have fried the Logic Board when you tried to turn it on. Sorry. You cannot get it replaced for free because there are water sensors in the device and they have probably gone off already. They might offer a new one for a discounted price though.

Leave it for a few more days, in a dry place, then try connecting to a charger.

The water is likely to have shorted the battery so you could be lucky.

I would say you have about a 5% chance of getting it to work again though.
