Hello,

Just out of interest, If I bought an Ipod Touch and used the iTunes WiFi feature to download songs or use the safari browser to view web pages would I also have to pay for wireless access? The reason I ask this is that there is various WiFi hotspots dotted around the UK and most of them charge a fee to use their services when out and about and I'm wondering how this would be handled?

It should work fine just like a laptop. It'll hook onto any free wifi, and if you ever had to pay (i.e. at a hotel etc.) then you'd make the payments through the Safari browser.

So for using at home, starbucks etc. you're good to go- no costs. [[Edit: For iTunes WiFi use]]

As for pay-per-use hotspots, i'm afraid you're paying.

Sure, i was just making reference to the new Wifi store on the iPod Touch.

For regular browsing you'd have to pay there too.

The free iTunes wifi store in starbucks is only going to be available in US for at least another 6 months as that is where they are deploying it first... so in the UK you'll have to pay for starbucks access...
