Title says it all, im having some problems with my iPod Touch's wifi at my school.
I've searched and browsed these forums alot for a solution, but couldn't find one specific enough, so i'll provide most details.
It's an iPod Touch, a day old, with firmware 1.1.4. The problem is:
I try to connect to my high-school's wifi network, but cant enter my username. Every student is given a username and password, for logging in on school computers, and wifi network on their laptops. My iPod doesn't give me the option
to enter a username. Alot of my friends are using their laptops, and they enter username and password, voila, it works. I can connect to the network (see the strength of the signal and it says im connected) But safari cant connect. The ip adress starts with 169. so theres something wrong, obviously.
My question is; how do i enter a username? Do i need a third-party program, or do i need to configure a new network in 'other'? Any help is much appreciated. Sorry for any repost issues.
PS. Tech staff at my school is not an option, i doubt they know what an iPod is.
