the title say it all, im running on a old version of windows xp i guess and are there sites out there where i can get the lastest or service package2 for my computer so that i download itunes and so on? plz help!!

If you have a genuine copy of Windows, then you have 3 options:

1) Turn on automatic updates. Service Pack 2 (actually, now SP3) will be delivered to your computer automatically.

2) Visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com. There, you can choose to download any of the high-priority security and stability updates that are available through automatic updates, as well as any optional updates (such as new major releases of Windows Media Player or the .NET framework, or new features such as Silverlight) that may have been released.

3) If your Internet connection is too slow to handle the size of the service pack, visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsxp/sp3/default.mspx and order a CD copy for a nominal fee plus the price of shipping.

If you don't have a genuine copy of Windows XP, then I cannot offer any advice.
