can anyone tell me why my ipod turns itself on for now reason!!.

can anyone tell me why my ipod turns itself on for now reason!!.

What is the situation which causes this to occur? Do you observe it when the unit is just sitting there idle and it spontaneously starts up? A little more detail will be helpful for those trying to help you.

Maybe you have an alarm set somewhere?

Which iPod? The 5G can be sensitive to interference, particularly from GSM phones. Usually the interference turns the volume up or down, or scrolls through the menu but it could turn the iPod on.

Keep the iPod away from sources of interference or use the hold switch.

That's regular, turning Hold off always turns on my iPod.
