Is it worth it? I saw it, and now I am OBSESSED! I love that thing, so I am currently selling my PSP and iPod to get myself one. But I have some questions:


Since the rest were updated, is this a 5.5G as well?

Is the included video awesome lke they say?

Is it worth the investment?

Yes it has been updated to 5G (late 2006) specifications.

iLounge reckon the video is nothing to write home about, just some stuff that's already available and a few interviews etc. They have a review of the original 5G U2 iPod on their site that's worth a read.

In my opinion there's no reason to buy it unless all you care about is looks. It's just a black iPod with a red wheel and black back for more money. Rather just get a normal 30GB iPod and some accessories for the same cash. The black steel looks cool though.
