iPod iPod Video and Jaguar

Does the new iPod video work with Jaguar? The Apple site says it works only with panther but I was wondering if maybe that was just a reccomendation. I got a voucher for an iPod video for Christmas and only have Jaguar on my compouter.

Apple's download page says iTunes 6 works on Jaguar 10.2.8, but Quicktime 7 requires Panther. While i say you can use a iPod video withe Jaguar for music, I don't know if you would be able to use the video functions.
A best case scenario would be you just couldn't watch the videos on your computer, but would be able to transfer them to the iPod and watch them on it.

I don't know that it let's you click the Videos link on the side there if you don't have the right quicktime...

That's why I said best case scenario. I wish I had a way to test it though.
