Just got a new 80gb video iPod. Plugged it in & uploaded 35g of music from iTunes. There the problems started. I checked the iPod "About" menu - it said 74gb capacity & 74gb still available. When I tried to upload more music and a cople of movies I got the error message "Can't sync data. Error -48".

I've reset three times (erasing all info each time) and still the same problems. BTW all this music is already on my old iPod and is OK (this should discount corrupt files).

Any ideas before I take it back?

does anyone know if I will need to return to PST settings in order to sync my iPod, or after the restore is successful will everything be okay?!

Thanks for any help.
