G' Vegas South Carolina
60GB Video, just over a year old. The clickwheel doesnt work right except when it is plugged in, and the volume is posessed and goes up and down randomly. Is it time for a new iPod?? :(
 
prob. reset it by holding down the menu and center buttons, then run ur iPod in diagnostics mode by pressing the menu and rewind button after u reseted it.

And do some test....

No.. No applecare. I have not restored from within iTunes yet. Could I be lucky enough that its just a bad click wheel?

I doubt you could consider that lucky... Apple's standard warranty expires after one year. Try doing what Pct1theory said as well as restoring the iPod from iTunes.
