iPod Video Problems

When I'm done creating a TV Show from either a file or DVD I have, I place it in the library of iTunes and it shows up in the TV Show section of the videos. I go into the options and make sure I select "TV Show" and see that its in the TV Show playlist of both my iTunes AND my iPod.

So why does it never actually show up ON the ipod? What step am I missing here? (btw, I'm using DVD2Pod or Handbrake so the files are playable).
