iPod iPod Video will not turn on!

My 30 GB iPod Video will not turn on, when I plug it in I can hear the hard drive start to go, but then it stops. The screen does not turn on. I opened the iPod up and made sure everything was plugged in right. help!

Any Recent Changes?

Did you just update iTunes? If you disconnected the iPod prior to an undate completing; that can cause similar issues.
