I just got a new 80G video iPod, and had some movies in iTunes that I tried to put on it. I went into Advanced and selected Convert Selection For iPod, and then when it was finished, I put them on and I couldn't get the sound to work. Any ideas why that might be?

Open the movie in Qucktime. Then from the Quicktime menu go to Window->Show Movie Info.

If it says MPEG1 muxed then that is your problem. QT doesn't support converting or transcoding mpeg1 muxed audio. Google should find you several answers. Look for an app that will demux an mpeg file, the convert that for the iPod.
