Some of my songs are real quiet, while others are really loud when wearing headphones... anyone know how to fix it, or is it a headphones problem?

Hey NDimichino. This is my first post, but I hope that it'll help you out. If you enable "Sound Check" in settings, under iPod, that should help you out to equalize the difference in loudness of each song.

Does this have anything to do with the quality they are imported into iTunes with also?

It depends on the source. If you look at some older cd's, they tend to be lower because of the way they were encoded at the time.

Thanks for the responses...

The sound check is on, and many of the songs are from iTunes/CDs but they are all the same volume on my iPod Video, that's why I decided to ask... it's just odd.

try using this in itunes if there is any specific songs that are loud/quiet.
