No camera or mic. Most apps work, but some are dependent on the phone, camera or mic.
They do have WiFi.

What about it. It doesn't know where you are.

The iPod touch does come with the Maps application. For one, it can use triangulation of wi-fi signals to determine a relative location. In addition, say that you wanted to use it for directions on a trip -- while you're connected to the Internet over wi-fi, just enter the information, and all the images will be saved in the app, so you can see where to go as you drive.
it sorta does through wifi signals. not that accurate though but wil be in your neighborhood
What about the Maps app, that comes with the iPod touch?
It's just google maps on your iPod. There's no GPS.
