yea- long story short I dropped my Ipod touch in water for like say 2 seconds before i got it out (im an idiot i know) and now it wont turn on at all. Any advice?

If it was on when it was dropped it, it's very likely toast. If you turned it on immediately after pulling it out, it's very likely toast. Let it sit for a few days in a container filled with rice, and see if it turns on then.

Good advice. I did it with my Treo that fell out of my car face down into a muddy rain puddle. I yanked the batter out pretty quick and it came back to life a couple of days after sitting in rice but took a couple of months to get full keyboard usage.
