iPod touch Ipod will only sync using VM Fusion? Help!

I just recently bought a 32gb ipod touch from my friend. I plugged it into my Brand new macbook pro and only half of my songs would sync then all of a sudden it would stop. I did a google search and I tried to sync my ipod using VM Fusion with Windows 7 and it works every time without a hitch. But, every time I try to sync it on my Mac it never works. It says certain songs cant be synced and it just hangs forever until I force quit itunes.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It only does this on my Macbook Pro.
