I have had my ipod touch for two years, went out of town for a week and left it at home. When I went to turn it on, and plug it in, it won't go past the loading screen.
I thought the battery had just died, so I left it plugged in for a while, but after a couple hours, it was still the same.

I read through a ton of forums and I did the one where I turned it off, plugged it in to itunes and then held down the home key and got it to connect to itunes.
There, it said it was doing a system restore, so I thought the problem was fixed. I watched it go through the system restore, and then it said that my ipod would restart and then should appear on the itunes screen....but it hasn't.

I still have the white apple screen, and can't get it to do anything else. I tried restoring it two more times, it says it does it...but my computer never recognizes it and I can't get it to change screens or do anything.

Help, please. :)
