hello i have the ipod touch 3g (i think) and it has problems when turning on. at first i thought it was my charger so i bought a new one. it wasnt it, what happens is i press the 2 buttons to turn it on it goes to the apple picture and shuts back off. same thing when its plugged in. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEELPP

Is the iPod brand new or have you had it for a while?
Buy a wall charger and see if it works; if it doesn't; it's your iPod.
If it's old the battery could just be dead.
If it's new there might have been a problem in the Apple factory and the battery got screwed up. If it's still under warranty you might be able to get a new model; and if not; you can always go to the Genius Bar and have a genius talk to you and help you out.
