iPod iPod won't turn on

Hi, I've got a iPod Nano 1G I accidentally put on screen lock and I forgot my code so I left it in my pocket but when I got to my house it wouldn't turn on. So I plugged it in still didn't turn on I looked in system profiler my MacBook recognizes my iPod, is there any way i can fix I'm sure it isn't a hardware problem.

If you have forgotten the screen lock code then you need to connect it to the computer that you use to Sync the iPod with.

Just leave it on charge over night and try again tomorrow.
