It would appear that the iPod is on sale for 230.99 at any one of your favorite online or retail stores. It's most curious that everyone has the same price point which makes me wonder if they've all been alerted to reduce stock. 6th gen iPods imminent?

Best Buy - $237.49
Amazon - $230.99
Circuit City - $230.99
Curiously, no Wal-Mart listings for iPods

Anyone spot others?

We were at Sam's Club this past Saturday and they had the 30GB for around
$234.00 and quite a few in stock.

I am new to the whole iPod thing. I take that they generally sell for full retail most of the time?

Yeah. Stores don't have much of a margin on Apple goods, so they typically sell at full price.

Thanks! I currently have a 2GB nano and have been thinking of getting g5.5 iPod. I figure when the new one comes out, I can always give this one to my wife or son if I like it better.

Maybe you should at least wait till the 7th of August.
