iPod touch IpodTouch 3g notification center not working unless voice over used

i cant use the notif. center on ios5, is this a bug or just something not working on the ipods yet. I have to get into voice over mode, which annoys me and then press clock and slide three fingers to access it. I saw a demonstration on an iphone 4 and all the person had to do was swipe one finger down from status bar. any fix?

I got iOS 5 working on my iPod touch 4G. Notifications Center requires using Voice Over and I can't get into the app switcher. Also, when the Springboard crashes, It brings me back to activation and disables Voice Over until I reboot, so I can open Notifications Center again to bypass activation.

In other words, I think it's broken.

I had the same problem but then I got my UDID registered and now everything works great with just a few minor bugs.
