Ipone 6 charging extreamly slow?

Anyone else?
I had it plugged up for an hour and it only to about %50. My old phone would be nearly fully charged in about 40mins

starting to like iphone again but this **** annoying when Samsung charges stupid fast and lasted way longer

It has been reported in other threads that the iPhone 6/6+ will charge faster with an iPad charger. Have you tried?

Also, 1 hour for 50% seems like what I would expect on the 6+ but not the 6 -- but I haven't received my device yet so just repeating 3rd hand info.
