iPod touch iPoT 2g Battery wear and tear?

hey guys, Quick question on battery life.
Ok, so obviously after you use a battery for a long time and after so many recharges they stop holding as much charge. Well does anyone know if using your iPod (like alot) when its plugged into your computer (almost like a mini computer) will this decrease the life of my battery? Hope i made the question clear, i have a tendency to confuse people. Thanks guys!

No. Quit worrying about stuff that doesn't exist.

If you always use it like that, then yes your battery will deteriorate faster. As long as you cycle it on and off of direct power, though, that will help prolong your battery's life.
