IPP 2nd screen dosen’t show dock

Hello all. Looking for a few suggestions... When hooking up the IPP(M1 12.9) to my external dell monitor, I see the IPP background wallpaper and call move the mouse or trackpad around the screen. But I do not see the dock at the bottom of the screen at all. So I cannot do anything on the 2nd monitor. I am able to switch the settings to mirror the ipad and this works fine(albeit with black bars around the window).

Appreciate an assistance.

I think i figured it out. I had to change the setting to Zoomed in View and now it seems to be working!
