iPS lanyard... opinions?

What do you guys think of the lanyard that comes with the iPod Shuffle? Do you use it? What goes through your head when you see someone else walking around with one around their neck?

I've worn my iPS with the lanyard a few times.. but each time it was tucked inside my sweater, jacket, or hoodie. But when warmer weather rolls around, I wonder how many will actually wear the iPS with the lanyards.

I dont own one nor have I seen someone with one on but I would think that it would get kinda in the way with the neck strap and headphone wire coming out. Does it I don't know I'm just asking if people who own it think that it gets in the way.

A colleague of mine has one and it looks cheap & nasty...

i think it looks a bit tacky like those people who wear their mobile phones around their neck.

i have also heard that when you use it, it makes the headphone cable get in the way!
