.ipsw help

I have downloaded ipsw files in the past and never had an issue before. but today i tried to download and extract the 4.3.3 ipsw for the iphone 4 and every time i extracted it, it did not look like an ipsw file. usually the file turns into a little block. but today it extracted it to a file and none of the files had the correct extension or look. i do get an error message about encription but i cant remember the wording right now.

I am getting the ipsw file from iclarified and jailbreakmatrix but both do the same thing.

i have a feeling i am doing something really dumb, but right now i just cant figure it out. a little help please..

on a windows machine with vista.

When you click on the link to download the ipsw and the window opens up then select Save as type: all files
and makes sure the file ends in .ipsw and NOT .zip format.
