Was hoping to get some news on the IpT line yesterday. Nothing. So we gotta wait until June then, assuming it even gets a mention then? It sounds like them to just never mention the IpT ever again as well.

iPod touch IpT news (or lack thereof) in June's WWDC then?

I think it's over. Apple will just steer people to iPhone 5C or equivalent entry model iPhone. I always loved the thinness of the iPod Touch though.
In June we will most likely hear that the Touch 5 will run IOS 9. No new products until possibly in September.
It's almost positive that the Touch 5 and iPhone 5C will both be discontinued in September since it looks like IOS 10 is A7 or better. We will need to wait till September to see what, if anything, replaces them.
