When i transfer what looks like a crystal clear image on my mac to my ipod touch, it doesn't really look that "crystal" anymore. I know that iTunes convert the images before transfer. Is this to hide the not "super good" quiality of the screen?

It's really hard to take a pic and show it when looking at pictures, but when the charger icon comes up it's really easy to see:

Is it just me or does you ipt screens also have this "pixelated" icon shadow when chargeing?
 
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the icon shadow is put there on purpose. I think it's supposed to be the light off the battery level or something.
