IPU mail in help

so I’ve been having my IPhone X since Monday and I’m ready to mail back my 7 plus. Do I just put it right in the back and call it a day or should I try to wipe some of my data?/reset to factory settings?

Update : nvm I opened up the mail in box and found the complete instructions and answers to my questions
