Exactly, if not my other guess will be they unify the podcast app with the radio.

What do you mean it looks like what would be used? Someone made it up. Unless Apple is planning on stealing someone else's work, I don't see how it looks like anything Apple would use.

I think it's just pure speculation by the OP - but it would probably be similar if there ever was an iRadio service.

Similar in what way? The icon doesn't even indicate music anywhere.
