I have tried MacIRSSI and Xchat. I like neither. Is there any other ones? Colloquy looks too much like Adium.

It looks too much like Adium though. Takes up too much screen space.

It also happens to be the most Mac-like IRC client out there. It is perfect. It uses a very Apple looking UI, that resembles Mail.

What are you on 800 x 600 or something?

Colloquy is far from perfect, far from advanced. I'm a netadmin on one network and I op many channels on networks where Colloquy is a royal pain in the ass (like shows channel owner/admins as regular users cause Colloquy doesnt support modes like +q/+a or other little ircd or services quirks, not to mention displaying all ircops/netadmins/owners/whatever at the top of the chanlist even if they have no voice in a moderated channel, or if they're just regular users, or don't have +o/h/v or whatever, wtf?!?!?! since when do ircops rank above channel ops IN THAT CHANNEL when the ircops don't have ops in that channel?!). Also, having 40 tabs open in one window, or 40 channels expanded to show userlists (channels over 100 people...), or 40 channels plus another 5 for privmsgs...no, no, it's not doable, it's not cool.

It's a great OS X client and I use it outside of home when I don't need to be in more than like one channel, but it's all eye candy otherwise (Just like most BitTorrent clients for Mac....) and I seriously can't do any serious IRCing with it.

Try x-chat aqua, it's my personal favorite.

I 100% agree. I just couldn't get on with Colloquy. XChat Aqua is much much better suited to anything more than very basic IRC use and while I still miss mIRC from the Windows world it's an acceptable replacement.
