well you can actually download bitesms for free, youll just have ads until you buy it. im not sure if you can download ireal for free though. ive tried both and ended up with bitesms, i personally liked it better than ireal. the support forums are great if you are having any issues as well.

Not knowing anything about irealsms, i can throw my full support behind bitesms and tell you that it is awesome. I've been a user for about 6 months now, and it's one of the few apps that makes it worthwhile for me to jailbreak.

ive only tried bitesms and its amazing, download the free trial you have nothing to lose, then like others said you can keep the free version and have ads or buy the app lose the ads and support the developer

I havent tried ireal, but bite is wonderful.
and bite has open betas and constantly adds new features.

used irealsms for the iphone 3G and worked superb without a hitch.

now have iphone 4 and decided to try something different, now using bite (demo) at first thought it was similar to irealsms however bite has more nice features that is pretty appealing - will be buying the license soon :)

whichever you go for both in general are good and easy to use - however bite gets my vote!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

Never tried ireal, but bitesms is pretty nice!

I've tried them both. They're both great and you really won't go wrong with either, but BiteSMS is way better in my opinion.

I'm a longtime iReal user and loved it. I just upgraded to a Verizon iPhone 4 and decided to try Bite and liked it so much that I just bought the license yesterday. Bite has more to functionality, as well as everything that iReal has.

But - No matter which one you go with, they are both good applications.

biteSMS is fantastic! I cannot have an iPhone without it. I always text and it makes a world of difference.

Another for bite. If apple had bite's features native I wouldn't JB. You're making a great call.

Am I the only one that prefers Tlert?

Bite just looked a lot more complicated to use.
I haven't downloaded a trial because I paid for Tlert and don't want to have to uninstall it to try Bite, but I keep reading so much about it, its definitely tempting.
I need to try it on someone else's device.

Well, I installed GV extensions and now Tlert crashes me into safe mode, so I had to get BiteSMS...

What a difference a few hours makes

as a long time ireal user i finally got around to testing out bite the other day & it's safe to say i will be purchasing it & replacing ireal! :)
