Is there a tweak like iRetiner GUI for the new iPad?
If you don't know what it does: It replaces all the non retina app icons with the retina ones.
I tried iRetiner and it adapts the icons and resprings but there won't appear any rentina icons. So I guess it doesn't work on the iPad.

there is one in cydia... not only does it replace the icon with HD ones but it also enhances the iphone apps and allows them to achieve retina display quality even on ipad... however, it is paid and i'm not allowed to share ways of getting it for free :) but google should be able to help you ;)

I believe he is talking about RetinaPad, but unfortunately I think he is mistaken when he says it makes app icons retina. In fact, it's all but useless on the iPad 3, it was meant for the iPad 1 and 2 before the had retina display.
