macOS irssi not compiling on Lion

Has anyone had any luck on compiling irssi on OS X Lion?

If you have, could you please post a step by step instruction on how you did it?

Sorry I can't be more specific at the moment, but I am away from my macbook air so I can't give you the specific warnings I received while trying to install irssi.

Well it looks like they have non-native targets in their Xcode project file. I went to project->upgrade all targets to native and tried to compile and got a ton of errors, but they are different errors that can probably be fixed by tweaking some settings(namely it looks like it is having problems finding headers)
