I am currently running 10.8.5 and I love it. I have spent a few years dialing it in and I am extremely happy with it. I am very upset that in order to use FCP 10.1 I must run Mavericks, which appears to have a fair share of issues.

The main item I am interested in is the new libraries for FCP X. FCP X has came along way but was still lacking in the content management part for me/us. The biggest gripe was trying to have multiple users work on one project.

I just bought a 1TB SSD and would like to know your thoughts on a few things.

1.) Is 10.9 Mavericks worth it for FCP 10.1?
2.) Is FCP 10.1 worth it?
3.) How does CS6 do on 10.9? Biggest use is Neat Video NR.

I am currently working on a 512GB SSD with 10.8 and really don't wanna upgrade and have to troubleshoot other programs. I was thinking about a dual booting between 10.9 and 10.8. Maybe splitting it with 512GB going to each.

4.) Does anyone have experience with dual booting between 10.8 and 10.9?
5.) If I dual boot can I eventually delete 10.8 and repartition 10.9 to use the full 1TB of my new SSD?
6.) What would you guys and gals do?
7.) Should I just bite the bullet and go with 10.9?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated thank you very much.
