I'd like to get an iPad Mini to match my iPhone 6 so I was thinking of getting one. Is it worth it? Is that a good price?

I know new ones will be announced soon but I'm not sure they could improve on it that much since I don't use games with the devices like this.

It's a good price but 16 GB is not enough, it's just too small, I'd say go with the 32 gb

Nov worth the $175 price jump tho

I don't think it's worth it as the demands of iOS 8 and the specs of the next generation iPad's are not known. I'd rather wait till next month to find out what's in store for the new iPad's. Besides all these killer deals will still be available as part of store deals when the new iPad's hit the street.

The 1st gen Mini has been discounted by $100 several times this year.

I'd wait to see what happens next month. Even after the keynote if you still want the current rMini I'm sure you'll be able to find some even cheaper as stores try to clear their inventory.
