Is 2010 C2D HDD plug&play in i7

I have a 13" 2.66ghz Core2Duo 2010 MBP13 and was wondering if I could just drop the SS HDD in the new (to me) 13" MBP13 2011 2.7ghz i7.

Yes, although i'd do a reinstall just for that squ33ky clean feel.

I actually went ahead and reinstalled Snow just for that reason, but stopped short of doing fresh installs of all my programs bc I wasn't sure if it would work on i7 (which is 'out for delivery')
